Well, at last I'm also joining on a different kind of paper than that of the notebook next to my bed.
My 40 days prayer is that the Lord will show our family something that we can do on a regular basis, that all 4 of us will really enjoy doing (not only 2 as is usually the case - either the adults or the kids or the different sexes) and that we will draw closer to one another as a result of it. As the days go by, I more and more get the feeling that He may answer this prayer in a very different way I first imagined.
I will be fasting from alcohol for 40 days. (I hope I can make it coffee next time!)
The last thing I did last night was reading a few pages from Food for the Heart by Kamran Yaraei, a former Shiite Muslim who had an encounter with the love of God through Jesus Christ. The first song that came to my mind this morning was.....The love of Jesus is so wonderful :-D
